MJQ Classics is an event series bringing you events that have been featured at MJQ since 1994. This month we are featuring a Wednesday Classic of Disco Funk night with previous resident DJ, Cozy Shawn from 9pm - 12am.
Since 1991, Dj Cozy Shawn's (Shawn Austin) mission is to put his heart & soul into every groove he spins! A native of Westbury, L.I., NY, Dj Cozy Shawn has been staple in the eclectic Atlanta nightlife scene since 1997. Spinning a selection of new/classic funk, classic NYC disco, funky rare grooves, jazz-funk, latin, soul, soundtracks, deep/jazzy house & classic golden-age hip hop.
